Zanilia is a storage guide for small Malaysian homes. It is written by a renter, not by a retailer's marketing team.
Who writes this
I am Aina. I have rented small terrace houses in the Klang Valley since 2019. Every measurement, price and note here comes from public research — not lab testing.
The site exists for a simple reason: when I moved into my first rental flat, nobody told me a 62 cm rack would not fit under my kitchen cabinet, or that an adhesive wall shelf fails within two months because of cooking vapour. Marketplace reviews say "good" and "fast delivery", but they rarely mention dimensions.
How we choose products
- Start from measurements, not products. Every category opens with one question: how much space does a typical rental actually have? Only then do we look for things that fit.
- Filter by physical limits. If a rack only works on a perfect wall, we say so, even when it is the best seller.
- Write the downside first. Every product must carry at least one real drawback and one "not for" statement.
How prices are checked
Every price on this site carries a date. We re-check the price on the Shopee or Lazada product page and record that date in the article and in its data. Anything that moves more than 20% is either updated or the article is marked as possibly stale.
We do not invent "was" prices, and we do not use the phrase "lowest price" without a check date attached.
How commission is disclosed

What we do not do
- We do not review products we have not looked into.
- We are not paid by sellers for positive reviews.
- We do not publish voucher or discount lists we cannot verify.
- We do not copy buyer reviews and rewrite them as personal experience.
